A strong, deep, grounding and feminine Rapé, made by Hukena Yawanawa. This Rapé contains relatively more tobacco and therefor is good to use when used in the mouth instead of being applied into the nose. When used in the mouth it can bring a deep silence, relaxation as well as healing. It helps to center oneself deeply.
When we use the Rapé in the mouth, you can take a slightly bigger amount then when applied into the nose. You put it in the space under your lower front teeth, on the side of your lip. You let it sit there until the force rises and when the force is good for you you can rinse your mouth with water and spit it all out. Note: never swollow the Rapé.
This Rapé is made by Hukena, the daughter of Hushahu. Like the Yawanawa tradition teaches he stays to the traditional recipe of native Tobacco and Tsunu ashes. Tsunu ashes give a lot of strength and are very opening and clarifying.
The Yawanawa tribe live along the Gregoria river in the Amazons of Acre, Brazil. Shamanism is a very important part of their culture, honoring the medicine plants and those who know how to work with them deeply. Among the medicines they work with like Ayahuasca, Kambo and Sananga, they say that Rapé is their most important medicine. Rapé gives them protections, enables them to enforce their prayers and they say that Rapé is the biggest healer. When somebody is sick the shaman would receive a Rapé and the Rapé would enable the shaman to heal the person.
